Ann Taylor - cashmere ruffle front cardi

Ann Taylor cashmere ruffle front cardi (237342) retails for $170. I saw it online for 30% as of 11/14. It comes in regular & petite sizes and a range of beautiful colors.

Size XS (regular) - I do noooot know what color this is! It's driving me nuts. The ticket says CL 212, so perhaps that's the color code. There is also another number that says C 2960. One of those two have to be the code. I'm guessing this is spearmint, but it could be a color that isn't offered online.

The sweater is very soft & felt so good on. The sparkly buttons are beautiful. A bit fussy, if I recall correctly. Some of the sparkly buttons the retailers are using are square or metal around them that interferes with buttoning.

Likey? No likey? Chime in...

I saw this cardi the other day and will DEFINITELY be snatching it up when it goes on sale. What I have learned in years past is AT cashmere gets marked down and down and down, and it seems like the store rarely sells out completely! So usually if I can hold out I get some very nice cashmere at rock-bottom prices! And I would say AT cashmere is excellent, especially compared to the disappointment that has been J.Crew cashmere for the past couple of years.

I bought this in the scarlett and will be getting the shoreline and winter white in the mail this week (had to exchange a couple of colors).

I paid $83 each with the promo + the italy 30, so I was very happy with the price.

I wore the red with a pewter hammered silk top and dark jeans last night to go out and this morning ended up wearing it to church with a black pencil skirt and scoopneck gray tee. I received a ton of complements both times.

I do not think the buttons are fussy at all. They are unusual but still understated and they fasten easily, unlike many I have seen this fall.

The one downside to the sweater is the sizing. I like my sweaters to be body skimming, but not tight and usually end up with a small from AT and JC even though I usually buy a 2 or xs in most blouses and camis. This sweater fit great in the sleeves and torso in an x-small, but was way too short. As in didn't even come to the top of my mid rise jeans short. I ended up sizing up the the small and it is more generous in the body (as in I liked the fit of the xs better) but at least is a nice length. I really can't image how short this would be in a petite, as it is very short on my 5'4" body.
