Bella Hurache - $54.99 - I am hoping my regular size of 7.5 works. They're leather. Ooh. There is also a grey color, but I don't think it would go well next to my skintone.
Skinny ankle jeans - $29.99 - They have a relaxed hip and thigh area and I guess they slim down towards the ankle. I realize they could taper into something very unattractive. However, some skinny jeans look like leggings on me, so I an open to the idea of a relaxed thigh area. They were $34.99 the other day. I'm glad I waited.
My mystery coupon savings was $15. These two items were $85 total, which is pretty good.
Who wishes J Crew would offer something similar? Of course I know the answer. *Iol* I imagine J Crew doesn't want their image associated with something essentially like scratch off coupons, which BR also does. But please bring on some frickety free shipping for cardholders, esp silver cardholders. The time is now!

You can't beat the deals being offered by Gap/BR/ON right now. I got the free shipping, 15% off at ON, and $15.00 off a 49.99 clearance item at BR. Plus 8% back on ON at Ebates. Amazing. I bought a bunch of the ON Perfect Khakis. They seem to be of great quality. How have yours held up through the wash? Any shrinking?
JC seems to have made it clear that they are going with the low inventory at full price strategy. I've definitely cut back on buying there, but if there's something I've gotta have, I'll still stalk and click, even if the deals aren't as good. I'm just much more selective about them now.
Anon/12:42p - Craponnastick. I only remember eBates every other order. Oh well. I have washed & dried my ON perfect khakis with no problem. BR doesn't have a lot of exciting designs right now & they're certainly not selling a lifestyle, but they've won some of my business back w/the bargains to be had.
i only got $15 off too. i was really thinking i was going to get the $500 off :-)
Hedder02 - I didn't even wish for $500. I guess I set myself up for $15 and that's what I got. *lol* Hey -- there's free shipping though and that's like a miracle at J Crew.
Gigi-Thanks for the info on laundering the ON Khakis. I would never have noticed them if it weren't for you and Heidi, and the 34" is spot on perfect for me. With JC it's alway 32", 33" or 35", although their pants are often worth getting altered or wearing a little too short. I forget ebates too, lol. I try to use the sticky note app on my Mac, and it does help. Sometimes, lol. I agree, re: BR. The white flared jeans at 49.99 minus $15.00 sucked me in. I hope they fit! Anon 12:42
Anon 12:42 - I have a physical sticky on my computer screen and of course it blends in now. I think I am going to add the ebates graphic to my picture slideshow so I see it every once in awhile.
*pats self on back*
Gigi-That will help! Don't feel too bad--the BR cashback on ebates is only 2%. 12:42 ;-)
LOL Gigi, I just ordered those SAME EXACT shoes in gold after receiving the discount. They've been in my cart for months, but I couldn't justify the price. Since my discount was for $25, it was too good to pass up. I also ordered the Zigzag dress & got free shipping.
*Absolutely wish* J.Crew would be competitive and offer discounts like BR; BR has definitely won my affection back with the coupons. While I still think JC has overall better material & styling, I find myself looking at BR's site more and more lately since they've got the constant free shipping (with $100+) and multiple stores.
I have a code worth $25 if anyone is interested in it- I didn't see anything I wanted.

LOL! I also always forget Ebates, Gigi. When I remember to use it's awesome...but I always, always forget. Arrgh.
K Mel, you have mail. :)
BR has one of the best perks for cardholders. I have BR Luxe card and I get free shipping and free alteration even on sale items.
I'm not even asking for J.Crew to match this offer, but hey, why can't they treat their card holders with better loyalty? At least free shipping. I have JC silver card, but I still haven't received the fall look book.
I agree, J Crew shipping fees are ridiculous! $14.50 at least, every time I order! It almost negates the extra 20% off J Crew *reluctantly* offers every now and then. But my B&M J Crew is always so picked over, I have no choice but to order online. What's a girl to do?
Code is gone!
I gotta say, I love the style of JC, but especially for petites, I love being able to walk into a BR and try them on in person. Or that they actually have a large selection of items they make in petite size.
I also wish JC would offer at least a fraction of the great deals that BR/Gap offers.
jcmama - I am so glad I went Luxe for Life when the card first came out. You cannot beat the free shipping, $15 birthday reward card, regular rewards and the extra couple Choose Your Own Shopping Day 15% cards that are good until year end!
KMel - That was sweet of you to share your code!
Hi Gigi! I just returned those gold shoes last night...they were uncomfortable the second I put them on my foot, so I knew I wouldn't be able to wear them for any extended period of time. I sure hope they work out for you! They are very pretty and you got a great deal, too. Let me know what you decide when they arrive. :)
FFM - Bummer. I also return shoes that don't feel good the moment they touch my feet. I'll have to update the post when I get them. Thanks!
